Q. How Does Spray Tanning Work
A. The active ingredient is dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which causes a chemical reaction with the amino acids on the outer most layer of the skin. This reaction causes the colour of the skin to change, producing a beautiful natural tan. For more information on this read here.
Q. Is Spray Tanning Safe?
A. Yes! This is the safest way to tan. Using sunbeds and staying out too long in the sun can cause skin cancer.
Q. Do You Spray Tan Men?
A. Yes we do. We have a few male clients so please do not be worried about contacting us for a spray tan. You can have an appointment on your own or as a couple.
Q. What Sort Of Client Base Do You Have?
A. We have a wide variety of clients and we spray tan both male and female clients of all ages from dancers, bodybuilders, travel agents, theatre groups, models, mums, teenagers, brides and even grooms. Also for anyone who wants a tan for a night out and special occasions including christenings, weddings, christmas and birthday parties and school proms too.
Q. I've Never Had A Spray Tan Before, What Should I Expect?
A. On arrival we will firstly fill in a client record card with you, this is to give you an initial consultation. All equipment will be set up whilst you get changed (if your not already) into whatever you feel comfortable in whether this is a black bikini set, a black underwear set or simply black briefs or thongs then pop a dressing gown on.
To protect the souls of your feet from discolouring with the tanning solution you'll be asked to stand on what we call 'sticky feet' they're just strips of white material that stick to the bottom of your feet and these will be placed on the floor before you step into the tent. You'll also be asked to pop on a hair net which will be provided for you to protect your hair and if you wish a pair of disposable pants to put over your own underwear for extra protection.
We'll also put a little moisturiser onto your fingernails and toenails this might seem strange but this will act as a barrier and will stop the tanning solution mist from sticking to your nails, no one wants discoloured finger nails. (The only time this won't be done is if you have false nails or nail polish on as this will automatically protect your own nails.) Likewise to protect the palms of your hands we'll also put a moisturiser on them. The palms of your hands and your nails will all be wiped with a baby wipe afterwards to take away the moisturiser. Your lips also need protecting so we'll ask you to put some vaseline on them which again we'll supply.
Whilst being sprayed we will ask you to turn round from back to front and from side to side etc so that we can tan you evenly. The tanning solution will make your body feel damp and cold so please don't be alarmed by this.
Q. Is It Messy Having A Spray Tan At Home ?
A. No not at all. We provide a large pop up tent that you stand inside whilst being sprayed. No overspray will go anywhere other than on the inside of the tent.

Q. If I Prefer, Can I Come To You For My Spray Tan?
A. Of course, we offer a mobile service for convenience but you may also visit us. To see where we are based click here.
Q. Does The Process Take Long?
A. No, it only takes 5 minutes to tan you and generally it will take about 20 minutes from start to finish including setting up the equipment and tent, filling out a client record card for you and then of course the tan itself.
Q. How Long Will My Tan Last?
A. This depends on your skin type, how well you look after your tan once applied but also how well you prepare for your tan. Please see our 'Before and After care' but generally it will last between 7-10 days.
Q. What Should I Wear After My Tanning Session?
A. We would strongly advise that you wear dark, loose clothing. We suggest wearing an old dressing gown for a few hours after the application. This will help to make sure your tan doesn't rub off before it has time to develop.
Q. Can I Shower Straight Away?
A. We would strongly suggest that you leave it at least 8 hours before you shower, if you don't your tan won't be as dark and won't last as long. We would also recommend that you shower rather than bathe for the same reasons. If possible leave it on overnight and shower the following day for best results.
Q. When I Shower Will My Tan Wash Off?
A. You will notice that when showering the colour guide will be rinsed away. This is normal, and will reveal a stunning natural looking tan. It is not your tan washing off!
Q. How Do Tanning Parties Work?
A. Simple, you get a few friends together and have a girly evening in. We will come round at the time you have requested and simply tan everyone. You get your tan FREE and each of your friends get a discount off the original price.
Q. Is It Possible To Have An Evening Appointment?
A. Yes, certainly. We are generally open for business between the hours of 10am-6pm Monday to Friday and 10am-1pm on a Saturday though evening appointments are available on request at the time of booking your appointment.

We're true fans of spray tanning (fans of our own products too) which means we're enthusiastic and this shows in our service.
Spray tanning is our specialty as you can see from our website we do not offer any other services - we're sure you have heard of the saying 'Jack Of All Trades - Master Of None'' - and we are quite the opposite!
We give you the option of visiting us or us visiting you and there are benefits to both options.
If you visit us it is a little cheaper on price (a mobile service costs an extra small fee to cover our costs). If you're not completely comfortable having a spray tan done at your home for whatever reason then coming to us takes away that problem and on those sunny days it's nice to step out and show off that new tan straight away with a fully bronzed body.
If you choose for us to come to you it means you can be tanned in the comfort of your own home with the added benefit of no travelling costs incurred. There are no worries of going to a local salon, stepping out and find that it's raining (as more often then not is it) I'm sure you can imagine the damage!
So the choice is your's you come to us, or we come to you!
We also offer evening appointments which is great if you finish work late and the local salon is closed! We're happy tanning you in whatever you are comfortable in whether its a bikini, topless or even nude.
Our before and after care advise is always offered so you will get the maximum numbers of days from your tan with the best possible results.
